FISHERSVILLE - Debra Sue Coffey Julian, 52, of Shalom Road, Waynesboro, passed away at 5:05 a.m. Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born on April 4, 1957, in Waynesboro, the daughter of Pat L. Sr. and the late Nellie Moyer Coffey.
She was a member of Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church, a former employee of the Staunton Country Club and Mirador Farms of Greenwood.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Julian on May 11, 2005.
Survivors include her son, Joshua Coffey and Kim Wood of Stuarts Draft; her daughter, Jessica Coffey of Waynesboro; stepdaughter, Katy Julian of Waynesboro; three sisters, Romonda Allen, Denice Morris and her husband, Ricky, of Stuarts Draft, Patsy Glass and her husband, John of Waynesboro; a brother, Pat Coffey Jr. and his wife, Joan, of Stuarts Draft; three grandchildren, Jacob, Kennedy and Ian Coffey; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church by the Reverend Dr. Paul LaPrevotte and the Reverend B. C. Akers.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the residence of her sister, Patsy Glass at 495 Baynes Road, Waynesboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA, 33 Archery Lane, Staunton, VA 24401.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
